Renara Akhoundova est née à Baku (Azerbaïdjan) de mère Russe et de père Azéri. Dès l’âge de 3 ans, elle se révèle spontanément attirée par le piano. Elle aime s’asseoir devant le clavier et s’est instinctivement qu’elle joue des mélodies. La facilité avec laquelle elle s’exprime musicalement est si évidente que ses parents n’hésitent pas à l’inscrire dans une école de musique spécialisée pour enfants hyper doués. C’est dans cette école qu’elle reçoit à la fois un enseignement normal mais aussi bénéficie de cours intensifs de musique.
Pendant 11 ans, à chaque fin d’année scolaire, elle participe à des concours organisés par le Conservatoire de Baku et, chaque année, elle est comblée de prix.A l’adolescence, Renara choisi de s’expatrier. Elle part à Moscou où elle suit des cours à l’Université de Lomonossov tout en continuant à travailler son piano.Après avoir obtenu un diplôme d’Economie, elle décide de voyager. L’Europe la fascine et plus particulièrement Paris où elle décide de vivre depuis 15 ans.« Toi et Moi » est le titre de son premier album. C’est aussi le titre d’une des compositions qui figure sur cet album. « Toi et Moi » traduit, sans contestation, des échanges émotionnels entre une femme et un homme.

Renara Akhoundova was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. Her mother is Russian and her father is Azerbaijan.
When she was 3 years old, Renara was like captivated by the keyboard and quite spontaneously started playing short melodies as if she were already an expert. Accordingly, her parents decided that she would attend a special school in Baku where super gifted children are provided with regular studies together with intense classical trainings of the musical instrument of their choice.
Renara stayed 11 years in this special school and, at each annual
time the Baku Conservatory was organizing examinations
she was awarded with the highest piano prize. That's how she was invited to perform, several times, at the Baku Philharmonic Hall and at the Conservatory Grand hall.
Having terminated her studies in Baku, she decided to settle in Moscow where she became a student at the Lomonosoff University. Though practicing the piano several hours per day, she became mastered in Economy and politics sciences.
Being attracted by Paris, which she visited several times while being a student, she decided, 15 years ago, to settle there after having been offered a job as a piano player during one of her visits.
She is convinced that Paris gives her piano interpretations more emotion and more sensitiveness than "You and me" is the title of her first album... it is also one of her
compositions which convey her deepest emotions about Love
between a man and a woman.
